A Long-Lasting Defibtech Battery

This battery has a 4-year standby life and is capable of delivering up to 125 shocks or 8 hours of continuous monitoring or operation. Each battery has an expiration date printed on the manufacturer’s label. We recommend always keeping two batteries: one installed in the AED, and one spare for emergencies.

Please note: This DCF-2003 battery is intended only for the Defibtech Lifeline VIEW automated external defibrillator. It is not compatible with the original Defibtech Lifeline. For that, you’ll need the standard Lifeline AED battery or the high capacity Defibtech Lifeline battery.

 

A Lightweight, Low-Maintenance Defibtech Battery

The DCF-2003 AED battery weighs just 3 pounds and installs in seconds. To replace your battery on a Defibtech VIEW, flip over the device so that it’s facing away from you. Remove the pads from their pouch to expose the battery compartment. Press the button to release the old battery, and then slide the replacement battery in its place. Push it in until you hear a click. The device will run a battery test to confirm readiness.

If your Defibtech battery is still in good working order, the light beside the power button should always be blinking green. If it’s blinking red or not blinking at all, it’s time to replace your battery.
